Third Generation Gospel Singers will host an ice cream fundraiser during the fireworks display July 4 at Moody Reunion grounds.

Mrs. Willie's famous ice cream in flavors of vanilla, peach and strawberry will be available from 7 to 10 p.m.

Also on sale will be snowcones, soda, tea and water.

The Gospel Singers are also preparing for their 15th anniversary, set July 17 at Owen Chapel Church of God in Christ.

The event will begin at 8 p.m. at the church, located on highway 84, about 13 miles east of Fairfield in the Butler community.

Guest speaker will be Minister Lee Kinder, with Faith Tabernacle Ministries of Palestine. Special guests will be "Communications" of Palestine. Other guests are expected from across the state.
