Grand jurors indict 22
Most on drug charges . . .
Out of 22 indictments handed down by the Freestone county grand jury in felony criminal cases, 14 were on drug charges. The grand jury convened Wednesday, June 24, at the courthouse in Fairfield for its regular monthly sessions. Charges on which action was taken include driving while intoxicated, forgery, aggravated assault, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a prohibited substance in a correctional facility, possession of cocaine, manufacture or delivery of methamphetamine, assault on a public servant, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, hindering secured creditors and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Indicted by the grand jury are: —Juan Ramos Dominguez, 24, of Teague on a May 2 felony DWI charge. The indictment shows two prior DWI convictions. —Charles Edward Griffin, on a charge of forgery, allegedly writing a $40 bad check on a banking account of Shane Blanchard on April 28. —Stephanie Dunn, 32, of Fairfield on a May 24 charge of possession of methamphetamine. —Thomas Walker Lee, 22, of Buffalo on a complaint of possession of a prohibited substance in an adult correctional facility, allegedly possession of marijuana in the Freestone county jail on May 18. —Matthew Potillo, Jr., 54, of Fairfield on a May 15 complaint of possession of cocaine. —Jim David Lott, 48, of Fairfield on a charge of manufacture or delivery of methamphetamine on May 13. —Karen Vance, 49, of Fairfield on a charge of manufacture or delivery of methamphetamine on May 13. —Michael Dewayne Duke, 49, of Paris on a May 16 charge of evading arrest or detention, allegedly fleeing from Teague Policeman Scott Sykora. —Michael Dewayne Duke, 49, of Paris on a May 16 charge of possession of methamphetamine. —Samuel Wiley, 31, of Groesbeck on a complaint of possession of cocaine on April 28. —Lucio Segundo, Jr., 22, of Teague on a charge of manufacture or delivery of cocaine on May 14. —Samuel Levar Mack, 32, of Teague on an April 19 charge of assault on a public servant, allegedly kicking Teague Policeman Scott Sykora. —Samuel Levar Mack, 32, of Teague on an April 19 charge of possession of cocaine. —Nicholas Tarran Freeman, 31, of Wortham on a complaint of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, allegedly striking Chandra Gray in the head with a pair of garden shears, on June 1. —Valeria Lynn Watson Doyle, 21, of Palestine on a June 4 charge of possession of methamphetamine. —Bobby Joe Tucker, 51, of Fairfield on a complaint of possession of methamphetamine on June 4. —Thomas Lee Kirven, 21, of Teague on a charge of possession of cocaine on May 20. —Carl Dewayne Jones, 19, of Teague on a June 1 complaint of manufacture or delivery of methamphetamine. —Natalie Stephenson, 25, of Teague on a June 1 complaint of manufacture or delivery of methamphetamine. Three indictments remain sealed pending arrest of defendants. |
