Wortham Independent School District basketball coaches are offering a summer camp this month that is free to students attending Wortham schools.

The camp, open to boys and girls in first through ninth grade, is June 22-25. Students in first through sixth grades attend from 9 a.m.-noon and students in seventh through ninth grades attend from 1-4 p.m.

While at camp, players learn proper techniques of shooting, ball handling, passing and 1-on-1 skills.

Fee for campers living outside WISD is $30.
