3 arrested on drug charges
Three Fairfield residents were arrested over the past few days by Freestone county deputies on felony drug charges.
All three arrests were made in Fairfield on warrants.
Nabbed at about 10 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, at an E. Commerce Street residence were Jim David Lott, 48, and Karen F. Vance, 49.
Arrested on Friday was Matthew Potillo, Jr.
Deputies exercised a search warrant at the Lott residence on E. Commerce and arrested Lott and Vance when they drove up to the residence.
The two were found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine, marijuana and Xanex, Sheriff Ralph Billings reports.
Lott and Vance each are charged with manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance and are in Freestone county jail.
At about 12:30 Friday, deputies arrested Portillo as he was walking south on Steward Lane.
Billings reports that a small amount of suspected cocaine was found on Potillo and a search of his residence on Steward Lane yielded more suspected cocaine and related paraphernalia.
Potillo is jailed on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
