Teague park progreses
A STATUE OF A SOLDIER stands guard at Veterans Remembrance Park of Teague which is under construction to honor all U.S. military veterans. Because of great response, order processing for commemorative granite benches at Veterans Remembrance Park of Teague have been suspended until such time as the park can be expanded.
Orders for granite stone pavers are still being taken and processed and the first set of pavers is expected to be placed in a few weeks.
Applications for engraved bricks to be placed on the "Wall of Honor" also also being accepted.
The park was established to honor the valor, fidelity and sacrifice of United States military veterans, and is located on U.S. 84 in Teague.
Currently 45 granite benches have been purchased, and although processing has been temporarily suspended, VRPT is still accepting orders to be placed on a waiting list.
