2 from FHS qualify for state meet

TWO FAIRFIELD HIGH school students, Bret Wilson and Ginny Johnson, qualified for state University Interscholastic League academic competition this spring. Two Fairfield high school students, senior Ginny Johnson and freshman Bret Wilson, have qualified for state Universtity Interscholastic League academic competition this month.

Because of concerns about swine flu, the meet has been postponed from this weekend to May 25-25. Events are at the University of Texas.

Wilson qualified for state in social studies by finishing third at region.

He is the son of John and Shelly Wilson of Fairfield.

Miss Johnson is going to state as the alternate in informative speaking.

She is the daughter of Sheila Johnson and Randy Johnson, both of Fairfield.
