Well, that was the week…..heavy weather, power outages, pirates off the African coast, and all. Since I can't think of anything else to throw in, I'll close…. An uncle has called, I'd volunteered to show him our Great State a few years ago. He's calling my hand. Will be shoving off on this Great Adventure sometime in next 2-3 months, Jimmie, Charlene, Darnelle and myself…..Doubtful I can show them the entire State of Texas in just four days. But will surely give it a try. Very much looking forward to it. You readers may not get too much Sheriff's Report stuff that week out of this column….. It may be more of a travelogue and description of where we went and what we saw instead of local folks with problems. Jimmie is afflicted with the same sickness as myself…..Doesn't meet many strangers…..Just a few folks he's never had the opportunity to meet up with before. And, that old mean wife of his, Charlene, is just as bad. We'll end up jawing with lots of folks all over this State before we return.

Until Next Week . . . RALPH BILLINGS
