2 teams fire 10 under par in senior golf
A scorecard playoff had to be used to determine the winner of the weekly senior golf scramble at Big Cedar Country Club when two teams tied for low round at 10 under par.
There were 21 players divided into seven teams in the event. Format was regular Florida scramble rules.
Winning team after the scorecard playoff was made up of J.R. Wagner, Jack Campbell and Tony Brackens.
Placing second after the playoff was the team of David Frazier, George Cockerell and Ramond Lucher.
Third place at seven under par went to the team of Tom Donaldson, Bill McCain and Larry Sladucek.
Finishing fourth with a score of six under par was the group of Paul Luna, Frank Houseman and Less Hobbs.
The senior scramble, open to golfers who are at least 50 years old, is played at 9 a.m. each Wednesday at Big Cedar. Players must register in advance with the pro shop.
