A 2006 graduate of Fairfield high school, Amy Casey, was recently recognized by the University of North Texas for academic achievement.

She was named to the President's List for the fall 2008 semester having earned a 4.0 grade point average.

Miss Casey has also been accepted to the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth.

She will enter the program in August where she will complete her studies to become a physician's assistant.
