The Fairfield Independent School District athletics department is looking for some good volunteers to help run the annual Eagle Relays track meet set in March.

"We want as much community help as we can get," athletic director Darrell Piske says. "To hold a quality meet, we need quality volunteers."

The relays consists of a junior high meet on Thursday, March 5, and senior high meet on Friday, March 6.

Field events start at 4 p.m. both days and running events start at 6:30 p.m.

Volunteers are needed as race timers and pickers, and to measure field events such as long jump, discus and shot put.

"We need as many as possible," Piske says. "They get a hat and a meal."
