CENTENARIAN AND FAIRFIELD resident Reatha Ray celebrates her 100th birthday this Friday. She will celebrate with family and friends over the weekend. Celebrating her 100th birthday on Friday is centenarian Reatha Ray of Fairfield.

Mrs. Ray was born on Jan. 9, 1909 in Coryell county. She married Odell Ray at the age of 17.

Together the couple had two children.

They were married for 44 years before Ray's death in 1970.

She is the only remaining child of 11 siblings.

Mrs. Ray has six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

She will celebrate the milestone with friends and family this Saturday.
