Edna Walrath

Memorial services were held last month for Edna Walrath, 78, of Fairfield who died Oct. 30.

Mrs. Walrath was born in Glen Burnie, Maryland, on April 30, 1930.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Lions Club.

Services were held for family and friends at Capps Memorial Chapel on Thursday, Oct. 30.

Burial followed that evening at Fairfield Cemetery.

Mrs. Walrath is survived by her children Kathryn W. Merceri of Houston and Stephen R. Walrath of Hickory Grove, South Carolina; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, Michael and Betty Benham and daughter of Whitehouse; Matthew and Cassandra Merceri and daughter of Conroe, Jason R. Walrath and son of Hickory Grove, South Carolina, Jeremiah and Melissa Walrath and family of Waxhaw, North Carolina, Joshua and Tamara Walrath of Fort Benning, Georgia, Jessica and Matthew Boykin of Rock Hill, South Carolina and Jacob and Melissa Walrath of Fort Belvior, Virginia; and other relatives Lynn and Mike Price and family of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Robert and Gloria Webber and family of Baltimore, Maryland.
