Waverly E. Drinkard, 87, of Fairfield, died Monday, Jan. 30, at his residence.

Services were 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1 at Capps Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ed Ridge and Rev. John Linton officiating.

Interment will follow at Lake Chapel Cemetery.

Mr. Drinkard was born August 21, 1924, in Eden, Texas to parents Clarence B. and Ola Armour Drinkard.

James Everett Moore, 89, of Lantana died Jan. 23.

Services were 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28 at Round Prairie Baptist Church with Rev. Ed Ridge officiating.

Burial followed at the Fairfield Cemetery.

Visitation was 4-7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27 at Griffin- Roughton Funeral Home, Fairfield.

Oliver E. Swinburn

Funeral services for Mr. Oliver E. Swinburn, 81, were held on Thursday, January 19 at 11 a.m. at the Dew Methodist Church. Rev. Ralph Hale and Mr. Malcolm Hancock officiated. Interment followed the services at Dew Cemetery.

Visitation was held on Wednesday with the family present from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Gordon Abney, Jr

Gordon (Uncle Junior) Abney, Jr. 87, of Fairfield, died Sunday, Jan. 29 at his residence. Services and burial will be in Fultondale, Alabama under the direction of Walker Chapel Funeral Home and Memorial Park. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Cedar Grove RV Park in Fairfield. Local arrangements were by Capps Memorial Chapel.
